Tena koe ehoa A sense of dramatic suspense with an intensity of escapism is impressed for my interpretation. The light that peers over her left shoulder, the intensity of the highlight on her facial expression coupled with the fragmented rotational movement in her lower torso area are for me expressions or dramatisations of a frightful deliverence. The muted black space from which she appears to be escaping all accumulate an enormous amount of visual gravity and create a momentum built on an impressions of fearful suspense. Perhaps not what you had intended as an image impression but, one that I receive very strong in visually confronting the scene of your image. I like the premise of your title and although a little vague I do find a connectivity to it in my own impression. I like this image very much and what it causes in visual reaction and mindful speculation.
